In a few days, we will have the pleasure of attending the first edition of the scientific conference day organised by CAPS, entitled “PhD Students’ Day”, on Monday 21 September 2026.

This event will provide an opportunity to learn more about the projects being undertaken by those we work alongside every day, ask questions, and foster collaboration across the laboratory’s various research areas. It will also be an opportunity for many of them to present their research, their methods and their preliminary results. Finally, the day will be rich in diversity, as we will have the pleasure of hearing presentations from two renowned researchers in motor control (Bastien Berret from Paris-Saclay) and adaptation (Sandra Chanraud from Bordeaux).

The day’s programme is as follows:

  • Welcome at 8.50 am, breakfast (STAPS, ground floor experimental room)
  • Conferences begin at 9.30 am (Mieusset theatre)
  • Buffet from 12.15 pm to 1.30 pm (STAPS, ground floor experimental room)
  • Conferences end at 4.30 pm (Mieusset theatre)
  • Informal after-work gathering at Le Calypso for those who wish to attend

We hope to see many of you there!
