
Since the start of the academic year in September 2025, UBE has implemented a menstrual leave policy to allow menstruating individuals suffering from dysmenorrhea to justify their absence on an ad hoc basis without having to provide a medical certificate. This leave is based on a sworn statement.
The principle is simple: just send your sworn statement by mail to your academic department, which will inform the relevant course coordinator.
