The Young Researchers’ Forum returns this year for its 31st edition, to be held on 4 and 5 June 2026 at the Faculty of Medicine in Dijon! This annual scientific conference, organised by a student committee, offers PhD students from the “Environments-Health” doctoral school at the University of Burgundy Europe and the Marie and Louis Pasteur University (UMLP) a unique platform to present their research through oral presentations and scientific posters. This year, more than 130 PhD students will be attending the event.

This Forum provides a unique opportunity for young researchers to engage with stakeholders from the academic world and the private sector, thereby broadening their career prospects. The event thus offers a valuable platform for dialogue between the research community and industry, thereby strengthening the links between academia and the local economy. Once again this year, it is supported by a number of partners, including the INSERM U1093 CAPS laboratory.

The ‘Environments and Health’ doctoral school brings together numerous PhD students from a wide range of disciplines, including Biology, Medicine, Sports Science, Agricultural and Ecological Sciences, and Earth, Space and Planetary Sciences. These two days of discussions are therefore part of an initiative to explore new areas of research.
This year, as in previous years, the CAPS laboratory will be represented by around ten PhD students who will be presenting their research. This event will offer some the chance to experience a scientific conference for the first time, others the opportunity to practise their skills and exchange ideas with their peers, and everyone the chance to strengthen bonds and foster a sense of unity within the unit’s PhD student team.
The abstract booklet and the official programme will soon be available on the event website: https://fjc-2026.sciencesconf.org/?lang=fr.
